National Expositor Comment: This is clear, undeniable evidence our two party system no longer functions. What can concerned citizens do when their representatives ignore valid questions? Susan Davis freely admits she will not act to protect the citizens she represents from the Bush regime's illegal unconstitutional actions. Who can the citizens turn to when they no longer have representation and congress ignores its role to check the executive branch?
The San Diego 9/11 Questions Meetup Group decided to follow through on the last town hall meeting where Congresswoman Susan Davis promised many constituents that she would "look into" the 9/11 anomalies to see if a new investigation was needed. We gave her books and DVDs, which was 6 months ago. Not wanting to miss an opportunity to follow up on her promise to us, a couple members of our group attended her most recent town hall meeting on Saturday. It was our best truth squad yet, and the most encouraging thing about the meeting was how many upset and angry people there were in the room. It wasn't just our group, it was an entire room full of people expressing their frustration and anger with her policies and stance on impeachment, the war and a new 9/11 investigation. This is what democracy is all about, and it was so great to be part of such a healthy congregation of justifiably upset citizens pressing their Congress to act. At one point she asks how many people in the room believe that the government is lying about what happened on 9/11 and more than half of the people in the room raised their hand. We leave with our answer: NO she would not support impeachment and NO she would not support a new 9/11 investigation. But she does "appreciate" a lot of what we have to say. The video starts to get into a heated 9/11 debate when I call her out on her bullshit at around 8:00 minutes.
